EARLY LIFE

Chuks Nnadi embarked on his professional film career in 2016. He made his debut as an indie filmmaker in 2021 with the short film project “I’M BROKEN”. This project marked a significant milestone, earning him his first official selection and nomination at the World Sony Short Film Competition. In “I’M BROKEN,” Nnadi wore multiple hats as Producer, Director, and Director of Photography, and the film effectively raised awareness about mental instability through themes of drug abuse and depression.

Driven by a passion for filmmaking and a desire to tell authentic African stories, Nnadi’s second short film, “CHIUGO,” in 2023, furthered his acclaim with another nomination and four official selections at various international film festivals. In addition to his work in short films, Nnadi made his debut as a Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) Video Director for the Amazon Prime movie “On The Edge” and also marked his first appearance as a film editor on Netflix. His diverse experience includes numerous roles as Cinematographer, and BTS Video Director. Chuks Nnadi is a film editor, colorist , embodying a broad spectrum of creativity.

As the CEO of Hanuluo Film, a YouTube film streaming brand, he has collaborated with notable stars such as Kenechukwu Ezeh, Kachi Nnochiri, Clifford Chimaizuobi Igbo, Uzor Arukwe, Omowunmi Dada, Kunle Remi, Joke Silva, Linda Ihuoma Ejiofor, Nkem Owoh, Mike Afolarin, Chimezie Imo, Chidi Mokeme, Segun Arinze, Olumide Oworu, Gabriel Afolayan, Jennifer Eliogu, Patrick Doyle, Chief Femi Branch, Jide Oyegbile, Ibrahim Suleiman, Hermes, and many others.

He has also worked with production companies including Writersinkconcepts, Voiceoftheeast, Eastsideventure, and Nollyigbo.
